Suzuki's Not Staying Competitive With the Sports Segment
Suzuki has lost their entry-level edge. They've lost the excitement around new models, Spurgeon says. And as you've seen the fall off of sales from the sports segment, Suzuki's not coming back with anything new or exciting or interesting to be competitive in that place. But would it not be more exciting if that kind of stuff came from MotoGP and made its way into the consumer market? I don't know, Spurgeon: Is that too cynical about Suzuki? Or my reasoning is just so solid that you can't even poke a hole in it?
