The idea of mental age just seems very spooky like that you can precisely define what age someone's at, even though they might be better at some things and worse. I think the car quotiant example gives a really potent example of how useless this concept isHow any part of our life that we take seriously, we wouldn't reduce down to a number like that. So why would we take matters of people's intelligence so unseriously?
