How Google's Research Differs From the Research Done by Google

As a research lab we're constrained i mean we've built simulated it took us years to build simulated social media engines so we simulate twitter because you know we don't have access to these platforms. The biggest difference the short answer is that they do a slightly different kind of research they're on a much shorter timeline so they don't have years to do experiments right it needs to happen now. We use what you know 95 percent 99 percent in medicine it's at least 99 percent right you can just give people medicine if it wasn't tested with 99 percent confidence in social science we're happy to accept 95 percent five percent error rate but at these companies they're happy with 80 percent to 90 percent
