"I was worried about that within myself. And like the being a new parent thing where suddenly you find yourself having so much animosity at this child because they won't go to bed or finish their dinner," he said. "They're afraid of that scared seeing the shadows of his father in that." He says Kubrick gets out of doing boring dialogue by making it stilted and interesting.
