During periods of economic expansion, business becomes so easy that individuals and companies are often lulled into inflated impressions of their ability. The people who think there's nothing they can do and will wait out the economy until things return to normal say they will get back to work again. This group of people become crushed financially and emotionally. They're going to go through all their money only to find that economic contractions can last much longer than expected.
