One of the things that really blew my mind was instinctive elaboration, which I hadn't. That's just simply that mental reflex that kicks in when somebody asks you a question and it hijacks your brain. And our unconscious mind cannot help but go to work on it. It makes you realize that actually your main job here is to find the good question because then you can let your brain do the work. As long as you give your brain the time and space to answer it, if you have set yourself up with a really interesting question, you're going to find something useful.
