The Progress of Alpha Fold Proteins
In the last year, well, maybe five years, I would say, there's been a really incredible progress in the ability to take all of these models. We want to get to the next step where we could actually make machines that would do things that we wanted. My lab specializes in trying to make fluidic technologies that shrink down the volumes that we need to do. Now instead of doing one experiment at a time using a big test tube, we can do a thousand experiments at a time with tiny little nanoliter chambers.
