How Does a Mouse's Running Wheel Help Its Brain?

The running wheel and the runners scampering around helped these new nerve selles to be born in the hippocampus at a faster rate. The more mice were then also able to interact with an exciting environment, the more that those new nerve cells would fully integrate  and form functional connections within the existing circuit. And so that would give rise to a more flourishing brain.
