Paul may have started the church in corinth, but this need not mean that he was the first christian in the city. Paul would often work with his own hands to support his ministry. aquila and priscilla were tent makers, a trade which paul shared. They are like bezilel and aholiab in the of exodus. The expulsion of the jews from rome likely occurred in a d forty nine. Some have estimated that around 50 thousand jews lived in r Rome at that time.
