The Evolution of the Eye

In invertebrate eyes, like ours, it obviously makes a bit more sense. If the cables were to go in front of the sensors, then how would you connect them back to the brain? Right? You'd have to like bundle them all together in an optic nerve that then goeslike back through the eye. And then that spot where the nerves all have to like go through to cable manage, there would be, you couldn't fit any receptors there. It would be a blind spot. Could you imagine an animal having a blind spot in their eyes? Yeah. We do. Because I lied to you. we are the ones with the backwards wired. Oh, a plot twist.
