Moses' Promise to the People of God, 'Take My Bones With You'
As thetos people are leaving, moses is busying himself with recouping the bones of joseph to take them with them. Joseph's bones were buried in a box at the river bed of the nile and moses wrote on a metal plate, ala shar arise o ox. He put that magical plate into the nile, and the bones of JOSEPH floated to the top. That little anecdote is important, because one of the egyptians who ended up joining the jewish people saw what had happened and went and grabbed that metal plate. And he would eventually use that to mate the other ox of the book of exodus, namely the golden calf
