Tarantino's film was a box office hit when it came out in 1993. The movie is at the tipping point where movies start to take on Tarantino, Soderber and other directors like Fincher or Paul Thomas Anderson. But that 90, 91, 92, it just wasn't that good. What was really not going on was a lot of creativity. And then Tarantino came in and was like, oh, movies. Oh, cool Yeah.
