The Legacy of Syrian Immigrants in American History

In 1900, the majority of Muslims in this country were Syrian Lebanese. This would be very different by the 1920s and 30s when you had large numbers of African Americans converting or reverting or transitioning to Islam. But we at this particular moment that I'm capturing in the country. Yes, there are Bengali and Punjabi Muslims and some Afghan there are Bosnian Albanian Muslims as well.
