The Evil and Adulterous Generation Seek a Sign

Jesus says an evil and adulterous generation seeks a sign. That should hit us right in the right in the gut because we still do that. There are some traditions more than others, but we tend to be sign seeking type people. I'm reminded of Simon the magician in the book of Acts who when he saw the spirit work miracles among the apostles and disciples wanted to buy this power from the apostles like hey, hey, yeah, I need this. This is really going to help my magic gig, my magician work. And you know, he's condemned soundly because of this this attitude and it's the same type thing.
