We're spending 6.3 trillion dollars which means there's a 1.4 trillion dollar difference on the credit card every year that we're charging Uh, which adds to the national debt And then interest in the national debt is the whole other compounding problem Um, so basically what that means is you would have to Zero the entire department of defense budget and medicare It for an entire year to balance the budget for just one year. That's how far out of balance the budget is. If you look at in the past 60 years The u.s. has only balanced the budget twice ever.
