The Unity of Isaiah Chapter 2
The unity of Isaiah chapter 2 is not clearly apparent to many commentators. It begins with a very positive vision of the future glorification of Zion. But it follows that with a series of escalating prophecies concerning its corruption. This provokes questions about the relationship between the two prophets, who prophesied around the same time.
