i'm thankful that the music it api exists for developers, because there's tons of developers doing a lot more interesting work than apple when it comes to the playback experience itself. But some key features of music like, for example, real time lyrics, are not available. It feels to me like these discrepancies are based on the different teams at apple and the kinds of things they prioritize.
