Bob Woodson and Ean roe are the co-founders of 17 76 unites. The group aims to improve the lives of african americans by focusing on neighborhood empowerment over government action. Robert woodson attended a farmont conference in 19 80, which ean roe also attended. Since that conference, the proportion of africans living in poverty has fallen from 30% to 19%. But then there is this income gap: medium white household income in 20 17 was 68 thousand dollars a year,. And medium black income was forty000 dollars a year.
