The Attraction of the Animal Without Person View

The attraction of the, oh, it's an animal without the person view is to some extent emotional. People who take these cases seriously as examples of animals without persons seem to me to have a reading of them which doesn't fit how we actually really think. I mean, surely that is the future for many of us, the gradual loss of what we are before we die, particularly if we're suffering from extreme Alzheimer's or something like this.
