"I was frankly pretty surprised that they were cool with, you know, me insisting on the talking raccoon being in the movie," she said of her parents. "There is part of me that like, I mean, Guardians is one of my favorites in the whole franchise because it's so weird and offbeat and fun and warm." She also spoke about how much refining happens in the editing room to get a film just right.
