Investigating Climate Journalism in Pakistan and Utilizing CCS Methods
This chapter discusses the main research problem of the study, which is the lack of information on climate journalism in Pakistan. It explains that despite Pakistan being at the forefront of devastating climate effects, there is very little research on the topic. The researchers collected data from three leading English newspapers over a 10-year period to analyze the consistency, coverage, and variation of climate topics. They also highlight the benefits of using computational communication science methods in their study.
