Revalidate means that you can visit the web sit and immediately get the stale version. That's actually how the syntax web site works as well. When there is a new episode of syntax, it will just automatically show up the next time somebody visits the web site because it was regenerated. You get the version from the last guy, and then the next guy gets your version.
