I don't know that there's anything actually wrong with advertising as a pat ar form of moditizing content. What's problematic about it for me is the surveillance economy that goes with it. So i'm working with a brilliant young man, chan racandra nikolusi, on this idea of forgetful advertising. And forgetful advertising would be a voluntary, optin system aimed at those sot of valus driven organizations. It would be able to do a lot of what advertising does right now, but in a single transaction. Our guess is that it's probably less lucrative then the purer, all out targeted advertising.
