Are Oscillations a Major Function in Cognitive Tasks?

When we look at inter-trainer recordings for instance if it e-coc that's where you sort of put a grid of electrodes on the neocortex on the brain there yeah. You see very robust traveling waves and if you look at Hebrew candle recordings there's also reports on theta oscillations traveling down the Hebrew campus. We have not been very good at quantifying these waves in the context of cognitive tasks right but I strongly believe they're there and I believe they're important.
