The Genetic History of Roman Prinage People

There were markers in this man's genetic code suggesting he had ancestors from island of sardinia. That indicates that there was a good deal of what the researchers called genetic diversity in the population of the italian peninsula at that time. Not entirely surprising, says gabriello scorano, because imperial rome was something of a melting pot.
