The Fermi paradox means that there's no one else out there, you don't necessarily have to accept that. If we if we found some intelligent or rather, you know, even trilobites, elsewhere, that would be bad news for us because that would mean that the great filter is ahead of us. But it still could be the case that there's one of us, at least per galaxy or per 10 or 100 or 1000 galaxies. Just because we're special doesn't mean that we shouldn't have these conversations about whether or not we're special, right?
