You Are Not Only a Writer

If the only thing you stake your identity in is your career as a writer, you're going to have a tough time. You write for the stories and the characters because you are a story teller. And on the days you can't find the centring of your worth, you do it anyways. Other people's responses to your work doesn't define you or the work.
