The Succession Theme on Andor

Britell was no stranger to this kind of television composition going into Andor, his scores for films like Moonlight and If Beale Street Could Talk Got a Moscow nominations. He's also the composer for the HBO show Succession which actually talked about in depth on my 2020 episode about HBO theme music if you want to hear more about the Succession theme. The main theme often shifts and slitherways but at its root it's a 5 note melody placed over 4 chords. Those chords are A minor, C major, D major and a final chord that kind of alternates from you between F major and D minor depending on which notes in the arrangement are strongest.
