The Importance of Rest Days on a Bouldering Trip

Don't go from like two hours in the gym three days a week to like eight hours outside, five days a week. You probably need more rest days on a bouldering trip than you would on a sport climbing trip. Pay attention to the style of boulder because bouldering is just higher velocity and higher impact than sport climbing up to a certain point. It's so common that I see people and I've done this too. I see people blow it with timing of the things they wanna try with conditions and with the aspect. But at the very least be choosing smart ones at the end of the trip.
