John McArthur: I would much rather appeal to the mystery of man's capriciousness. He argues that god doesn't manage to turn evil aspects of our world too good for those who love him. Pastor john does not really mean that god decisively causes literally all preferences and choices, does he? And he makes this abundantly clear on his web side. There's no reason to swallow the difficult pill of ami determinism because there is no passage in the bible that supports it.
