Melissa Lofford has worked as a foreign correspondent in Russia for many years. She says the idea that Evan Goshkovich is a spy just doesn't stack up. The accreditation was not like a get-out-of-jail-free card, she adds. It didn't mean they wouldn't kick you out of the country if it wasn't good enough or to send a message about something Britain had done.
