The Importance of Emotional Validation
I think getting to the question beneath the question is often important. Instinctively now, anytime I hear the answer, I don't know. Well, if you did know, what would you say? And that little, like kind of instinctive response has often unlocked a lot more additional conversation. It's so important in our conversations, we can know the difference between in affirming an ideology or a theological position and these different kinds of things. Knowing when we can provide emotional validation for how somebody experienced something difficult.
