If you're just seeking for confirmation bias, it's very easy to get get riht. Ask open ended questions and prompt the customer based on their response. I've also found that this can only be done well if i become a better listener. And i know it sounds silly too, like it's so basic that i become a be listener. But i'll tell you, that is something that has changed my a change for the better,. My approach to management... more than any product specific skill that i may have acquired over the last decade.
