Oleomide Is Used as a Slip Agent in Plastic Products

Hermit crabs were attracted to the smell of a plastic ajective known as oliomide. Oleumite is also a natural fatty acid that, you know, you'll find it in our bodies. The authors of this research found that exposure to low concentrations of oliumide dispersed in water will cause an increase in the respiration rate of hermit crabs.
