The Contrast Between Abraham and the People of Sodom
Abraham is a generous host. He goes above and beyond to provide. And the experience that he has with the Canaanites in Sodom is what Ham did. But now it's grown into something much more, much more tense and much worse. If people are kind to you and good to you on your journey, you'll be safe. And if they're not, you could die. That's what we're talking about when we talk about hospitality in this context.
