Is There a Need for Repetition?

Once you're intermediate, I go very much to the novelty. So once you're at that intermediate level, it's still a struggle because you're missing so many words. But as a general rule, the further you progress in the language, the more novelty takes over and the less repetition is needed. And then I say, geez, today I'm kind of tearing.
