I think one of the most interesting things happening right now in in Britain and America is maybe outside the realm of party politics. For the first time really in modern history we have an intellectual class that is not dependent upon institutions or indeed political parties or universities to get their ideas out there. That ecosystem you can see for example in Britain is very visible it's becoming very in many respects it's where all of the interesting ideas are. I'm a bit more optimistic compared to where we were say five years ago intellectually, he says.
