Miss Sayers - A Detective Novel With No Murders
i've got a review here from the times from 19 35. Describes galdy nightl this a detective novel with no murders, an oxford novel with no useful grievances. So far, cutting across categories, miss sayers flout's convention to good purpose. Seems to me it's one of the most interesting feminist texts of that kind of first half of the twentieth century. And i mean, i'm guessing that saers probably wouldn't have described herself as a kind of a capital f feminist.
