Is Generative Testing a Good Idea?

There's specs on functions that aren't realistic to generatively test, right? They might have side effects or require mocks. And I think tying the spec checking specifically to that in all cases could be a great solution for when you fire up a REPL. So do you going to have any thoughts about sort of higher level, era messages in general, anything they're beyond just specifically spec? It's actually interesting problem in the closure of spacing in general, especially because suspects spent out for a couple of years now.
