A lot of inflammation, insulin resistance, weight loss resistance, mental health, nearly any chronic disease state is really a byproduct of dysfunctional mitochondria. And so one of the reasons that this is such a revolutionary breakthrough is because 20 years ago, we really just thought mitochondria were stationary power houses.
