Police Power

It's quite difficult I think for someone who isn't used to thinking about police in this way to grasp how wide the concept goes. Police power, it starts at the same time as you get free market economy, the idea of the free market begins to spring up. There's this almost constellation of ideas, police, policy, political economy all derived from this single Greek word. All these ideas sort of hang together in some way.
