The Habit of the Human Mind

Why do you think ampathy comes so hard to us in business? Why are we so quick to go to fuel and so slow to understand that if we really took time to understand where people are coming from, what might be the resistance. Well, there's a bunch of different ways to answer that, but i think the shortest way to answer that is the habit of the human mind is view the world through the lens of our own experience. And as a result, particularly when in the world of innovation and hange, we desperately want to feel like we're in control of our ability to influence others.
