The Risks of Leaving a Bar
I think there's a risk if you're another person that involved in the bar who isn't that person, right? That is something as a partner I would be wary of and where it really runs a really big risk. You definitely leave yourself open to not even just that person's departure, but what happens when they decide they want to be less present in the bar on a night to night basis or you decide to open another location at the same time. It creates a sort of unrealistic setup. And a setup that's often fostered by the early days of the bar when the bar is trying to build some momentum,. generate interest from drinkers that is totally unsustainable.
