A Little Girl's Journey Through the Weeds
Sara fell down the side of a road and was waist deep in tall grass. The weeds were dangerous cause you couldn't see where you were stepping. She managed to move through brambles with thorns long enough to put out an eye. Then she turned to see her uncle eddi rise from behind a stand of cattails. His work uniform was smouldering, and barely a thing. Where his right eye should be, there was a pulsing, dead orange ligtThe smell of burning skin and hair made sarah's stomach turn over.
