How Much Knowledge Is That?

I don't think we can quantify the amount of knowledge creation. All we can do is have proxies about how fast we're making progress in any particular time given a technological metric or something like that. You could say on how many books are being published each year, maybe that would give you an idea - but not really. A lot of them are entertainment, they don't really produce knowledge, all these sorts of things.
