partition topology is pretty much having like a charted data. On each node of the cluster will be in charge of a portion of the data. So when you write a key, a that key based on the consistent hash algorithm is going to be written in one of the notes and so on and so forth. It's probably the most scalable distribution model that you can find even in the databases.
