Humility Is the Opposite of Inherentity

Yung: Our desire to be other than we are is a desire for power over ourselves. He says that this state of being leaves us vulnerable to feelings of inferiority. The way out of the danger, according to the image of our parable, is to find our own clod of earth. This doesn't involve some heroic act of self mastery, but rather something akin to ploughing the little plot of land that is our true self. It's a work of humil and that is the key take away here.
