Why Is the Government So Focused on McKinsey?
The government spent an estimated just over 17 million on contracts with McKinsey in the 2021-22 fiscal year. But they also spent an estimated 172 million on Deloitte over that same period and 115.6 million on Price Waterhouse Cooper's. The lead researcher on that project to Dr. Amanda Clark from Carleton University appeared Monday. She says while all the MPs want to focus on McKinsey because of the political connections to Dominic Barton, she thinks that the much larger issue is outsourcing in general.
