How to Be a Better Game Designer

Having something that you can do that's not a game related thing not even playing games or anything like that Is wonderful. I find hobbies that are not game related very useful for that because your brain sort of needs the freedom to do other things. Maybe just a little lateral movement can help the same thing like with podcasts.
