The Diachronic and Synchronic Time

The despotic machine is synchronic, while the capitalist machines time is diachronic. This notion of a new creative break sounds something like when nica describes the breaking of history in two. And i think, ha, that's basically what they are implying with capitalism. It doesn't just break history in two, it institutes a totally different form of time. We've talked about this in other situations, where it seems initially to threaten capitalism and threatening it with collapse, can be commodified and a new axiom made.
